Currently? 1,000 rounds of 9mm, 1,000 rounds of 40. I can't seem to stockpile because I have a "going to the range for a few hours" addiction.

Back in the 90's I stockpiled 35,000 rounds of 45 ACP and shot all of it in 18 months. At the time I owned two, P220's and two Colt 1911-A1's. 500 rounds a week was not hard to do. My pistol range was in my back yard, out in the country.

I buy ammo more than I shoot it seems anymore. I have a couple of hundred rounds of 5.56 for a gun I don't have yet, and any time shotgun shells are on sale a case just seems to jump into my cart.

Why would anyone want to answer this, and have it posted on the internet with the possibility of the wicked witch being elected?

I was lucky a couple of years back when the .22 scare/shortage started since at that time I had >110K rds on hand. I have since increased those reserves a bit. Only have ~5K of .45 and ~3K of 9mm (will rectify that this week) ...really running low on 5.56 at the moment with a little less than 10K rd. 12ga and 20ga slugs and buck totals of ~2K rds combined.

Pretty sure Hillary won't have here team scouring gun forums so she can send people to confiscate our legally obtained ammo. That's why. I often worry about irrational things like why so many gun owners are so paranoid about irrational things.

I'm always gun poor, scope poor or ammo poor! It's a vicious cycle!! As a rule thou.. more than 10k less than 20k ready to go. With 2 sons that are avid shooters. A 3 day weekend at the range or in the wild makes a big dent in the pile!

Because they're not paranoid enough to worry about it, I imagine.

It's a poll. You can answer the poll, and respond in the thread anyway you like.
