Geco 9mm 124 grain back in stock at Target Sports

Hi all,

One of the things that sold out nearly everywhere on Black Friday was Geco 9mm Lugar 124 grain ammo. Target Sports had the best price I saw: 20 cents per round. Free shipping if you order 1000 rounds. It's back in stock at the same excellent price.

Be aware some of the swiss made 124 gr is magnetic, which is an issue at some ranges.

If you dig deeper into the Geco brand you'll see them state their rounds are NOT magnetic and Olympic certified. I've been using Geco almost exclusively for the last couple years. Never had a single issue.

Swiss made 9mm for $199/1000 shipped free is $20 less than it was like a month ago because I got two cases after a class I took to replenish.
And that $199 is pretty close to pre Sandy hook prices as well. It's gonna keep coming down for the next year or so as many fully expected Hillary to win, stocked up and were expecting to resell and capitalize on things. Same goes for AR15s. I got an email from KyGunco I think it was a week or so back that had Rugers for $549.

Although I think their .45 ammo in made in Hungary it is still IMO better than Blazer brass or Winchester white box for sure. Much cleaner shooting ammo.

True, the ammo linked by KansasRural is NOT magnetic. But I have plenty of Geco ammo that does have a magnetic projectile, beancrusher's caution is valid.

Agreed.
For future reference what calibers and rounds are magnetic?
Thank you

Never mind. I didn't realize there was a link.
Interesting that they make two rounds seemingly identical with two different jacket compositions.

I realized that afterward. But on a phone sometimes it's hard to tell it's a link especially when a brainiac changes the simple link into words to fit the sentence.

I still don't know how people do that? But anyway it doesn't matter.

When I first posted this 7 hours ago, 86 cases were in stock. Now they have just 33 remaining. If you are interested, don't wait.

What about the Geco from Hungary? That any good?

I was moving some ammo around recently and found one old box of Geco 9mm made in Germany. I remember that being some great stuff.
