I usually buy my ammo from Lucky Gunner btw. Great people!!!!! I used to use www.ammoengine.com and buy whatever was the cheapest but then I learned better. Ammo engine is great for finding out who has the specific ammo I want the cheapest. Every since we got our FFL I just order from the distributor now.

I can get CCI Blazer aluminum for $8.99-$9.99. I find it to shoot more cleanly than any of the other cheap stuff. Never a failure.

OTOH, I have found the most manufacturing defects in Remington UMC green box.

I don't shoot steel only because my range doesn't allow it, but I would if I could.

Fishslayer.... does it really? I was considering reloading, but I couldn't make the math work out in its favor. If I were to buy 100 bullets, 100 primers, 100 empty brass cases, and powder, where would my cost be? Now throw in $300 in equipment, how long before an ROI?

Any 357sig shooters? Any recommendation on where to purchase .357sig ammo's at a decent price? Something that would be around $0.30 to $0.35/rd. The WWB at walmart is nearly $0.60/rd... OUCH...

I can regularly get CCI Blazer Aluminum for $9.99/50 and often on sale for $8.99. I find it to be clean, accurate, and reliable.

I just dont get it we reload here for comp shooting at around 80 dollars a thousand in 9 mm
using lead hard cast 124 grain bullets ,unique powder, win primers. Primers are the biggest expense. We buy in large amounts so cost gets cheaper the more you buy, in most cases. All brass is range pick-ups and that I tumble and clean for reloading with a homemade tumbler.
