| Barne's copper bullets
Has anyone had experience with the Barne's XPB all copper hollow points in 9mm or .45? Did a little research on them but I was wanting to hear some first hand accounts on performance before I went out and spent the money for something that only performs under test conditions. Any info would be appreciated.

I have run a few boxes of the 45 acp dpx load through my xd. It shoots quite well and according to the testing is an excellent barrier load. If you lived in the frozen north it would probably be a good choice for EDC in the winter. I didn't carry it most of the time because I wanted less penetration. I did keep a magazine full in the truck and carried it every time I was in the field. It was my choice for potential tweeter and black bear encounters in the woods. |
