For the last couple of weeks, I've been mentioning in other threads that in California, effective February 1st, a new law was going to change handgun ammo purchases in California. Some of the changes include: All handgun ammunition will require an ID and a fingerprint to purchase and no more internet sales of ammo - must be face to face sales.

Today, a Fresno Superior Court ruled that this new law is unconstitutional. Therefore, at almost zero hour, the scales of justice swung our way... See the included link for more details.

The NRA and the California Rifle and Pistol Association did a good job today... THANK YOU!!!

HELL YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's some of the best news I've heard in a while about this friggin state.

I love our Constitution and I love this country! We may not get everything right and we have a long way to go, but a small victory was won today and for that, I'm thankful!

Great news guys, I hope things continue to go well over there. If stuff like that goes over alright in CA there is no telling where it'll be next.

Sad part is, the anti-gunners will probably try to appeal the decision. Even if the appellate courts rule it unconstitutional, as liberal as California is, sooner or later the politicians will pass into law another version which will be declared constitutional and the honest citizens of California will suffer.
