Avoid Freedom Ammunition

posted June 23, 2016 09:27 AM
All -- be careful when ordering from Freedom munitions.
I had heard good things about freedom munition so I went to the website and ordered some ammo, the site seemed fairly well done and everything seemed legit.
Unfortunatley I had unknowingly gone to the wrong site -- freedom Ammunition and not freedom munitions.

Freedom Ammunition is a complete SCAM site. They do sell ammo but everything about them is a lie.
They represent the ammo as new but then ship you reloads. They tell you it has shipped but it takes ten additional emails and calls until you finally get the ammo weeks later.
Lastly -- the ammo is BAD to the point of being unusable. We had 5 squibs out of the first 200 rounds -- where the round fired but did not make it out of the barrel and became stuck in the barrel.

Please do yourself a favor and AVOID freedom ammunition. I buy ammo online regularly and shoot 1000+ rounds per month. I must say that the whole experience with them has been horrible in every way possible.

Once I realized my mistake I also ordered from freedom munitions and that experience has been 100% perfect, good ammo, good price, fast shipping.

Please tell your friends to avoind Freedom Ammunition, I hate to think of people getting injured when a bullet gets stuck in the barrel and they try to fire another round. A less knowledgeable shooter may not realize that the barrel is plugged and try to fire a second round -- this could result in serious injury.

Again -- Freedom munitions is a reputable company but Freedom ammunition should be avoided no matter what the price of the ammo -- it is unusable.

Im hoping Friday to use the freedom munitions I ordered and hope to report back on one of my threads or Ill start a new one.

I will avoid the Freedom ammuntion site thanks!

Wow, that is a good heads up! I myself reload, but there are times when I like just a small batch of stuff I don't reload for. Thanks

If you ever go to BulkAmmo.com you may notice that they carry Freedom Ammunition reman 9mm 100round ***s for relatively cheap. I've ordered in the past, and it's not bad. They may not be as efficient as Freedom Munitions because they may have a smaller manufacturing facility.

Thanks for the heads up! I'm sure that many members here also aren't aware of the difference. Sorry that you had to deal with it- your pain is someone else's gain.

Stay away from Freedom Ammunition, it is a joke of a company.

Freedom Munitons on the other hand is a great company(don't like their current website though) and have never had an issue with their products.

Thanks for the tip!

The crooks are real good at catching people with sites using almost-the-same-URLs.

Have to be very careful that you are using the true website for a business and that they are legit.

Thanks for the tip, I've bought from freedom munitions and had a great experience with them. I'll be careful to make sure I'm going to the right place next time.

Looks like this company was planning on making money from mistakes people made in going to the wrong website.

Definitely not a good way to run a business.

That should have been your first indication something was wrong. The real Freedom Munitions redid their site a few months ago and it is awful now. Seriously hard to order on a mobile device, and not much easier on a desktop.
