| Home made shotshell racks and mag pouches
Well it looks as if I may be competing in a few 3 gun matches this year. This will be a first for me, and im not gunna lie im a little nervous. I do not have the best gear for it yet, but I figured ill go with what I have for now and see if I like it first. I did know that I needed some shot shell racks and AR mag pouches though. The shot shell rack Is a work in progress, as it still needs a belt loop of sorts and some other minor tweaking. Figured I will make 2 or 3 of these and I should be good. As for the AR pouches, I plan on using Pmags in the comp. I made this design, and though it works great, and feels really good to draw the mag from I feel it takes up to much room on my belt. I will be making another design hopefully this week that will fit better. Let me know what you guys think. |

The shotshell racks look like they would be perfect for dove season around here.

It does make your ammo really easily accessible. there are multiple companies that make racks like this, but making my own saved me a good bit of money.

That's very nice work. Those shotgun round racks are like some newer commercial units I've noticed in the past few weeks.

Thanks. What company did you see that is making them? I would like to look at their design.

Choate Competition Shotshell Ammo Carrier 12 Ga 6-Round Belt Loop Composite Black I think it was this. Based in a google search result, I believe it is the latest kydex fad. |
