Let me say that I'm not one that likes to bash our LEO's. I've done a few ride a longs and I have a tremendous amount of respect for them as a whole. This video highlights one of them that I can't respect after watching his handling of this situation.

I hate, hate, hate videos like this. Lock this prick up - he's either having a 'roid rage or he's too dangerous to be allowed in public.



And while I acknowledge the "few bad apples" analogy, I can say 100% without a doubt that every police officer in this country would stand by and let a fellow officer be this criminal. Someone please prove me wrong with a video or story where an officer stopped their partner from violating a citizen's rights like this.



There may be only one bad apple in Ohio, but the "brotherhood" that enables him is even more dangerous.

Once is to often! This is an Epic meltdown by an Officer that is obviously in extreme need of Psychiatric help. Second his "Partner" is equally at fault



for not intervening & it is with 100 percent certainty that NO WAY IN HELL would all Police Officers stand by and let this happen; and to state any differently

If you're offended, Jim-Bob, then aim your ire at the jackwagon in the video, not at me.



It's my experience that cops will back up cops and let the facts get sorted out later. 99.9% of the time that close connection and loyalty is absolutely essential to the safety of our officers, but it's ignorant to believe that even the best cop in the country would have the presence of mind in a situation like this to stop this cop from being belligerent.



Show me one instance where a police officer EVER arrested a fellow officer who was doing something like this, and I'll eat every word on video. With the system constantly cramming political correctness bullcrap down the throats of every police officer and soldier overseas, fighting injustice takes a backseat to just getting home safely without being prosecuted for making the wrong move.



And that's why I hate videos like this. Just because a cop abuses his authority it doesn't mean that he doesn't have that authority. Anyone else could have been rightly shot and killed for threatening someone's life like that. The only person with real power to stop what was going on was the partner/backup officer, and he's not going to create tensions with a fellow officer for the sake of some random innocent.



To protect and serve has become To catch the bad guys, get outta my way - both in law enforcement and in the military. It's not an attack on public servants, it's an unfortunate reality. Unionization in police departments isn't helping, either; it probably makes it worse.



To further drive home my point: the bastard is on paid administrative leave. Oh, and - they're letting him use his sick days first, so that he doesn't lose them when they finally fire him.

level of expertise on the subject. It must be a terrible burden to be the smartest person you know. Please continue to share your wisdom with those who

Police officers are like everyone, If they are having a good day they treat You right but if they are having a crappy day some can be real jerks just like anyone else in other professions, I've got cop friends & I've had several many experiences with Police officers mostly due to my job, The majority of the police officers are very good people but I'v met a handfull of A-Holes.. I drove garbage trucks for many years I had to start between 1;00 - 3;00am in the morning, a typical day was 12-16 hrs a day. I had the City of Dearborn Mich as one of my pick-ups, City Hall, Police & Fire, Library ect... Every single time I go to pick up the trash at the police station which was 2x a week there would be four police cars blocking my dumpsters, Every single time & it didn't matter if it was 1;00am or 3;00pm.. The very first time I dumped them...Blocked, I blew the horn & waited five mins, No responce so I walk in the doors by the garage, Some cop behind the desk about jumps over the counter & starts swearing at Me, I politley told him who I was & I needed cars #1 #2 #3 #4 moved He starts threatening me red in the face & swearing like a truck driver calling me M.F & ect..Finally a mechanic heard the commotion & got the cars moved... This went on 2x a week for two years him swearing at me & threatening Me & saying he was going to arrest me, I would even politley ask them to keep the cans clear every Mon & Thurs that way I wouldn't have to even go inside the building, Always blocked, I would have my dispatcher call them 10 mins ahead of my arrival to move the cars, My trash dumpsters still blocked & I would have to go inside & deal with this jerk swearing & threatening Me... That Cop treated Me just like that cop did to that guy in the video but He treted Me that way 2x a Week which is B.S. I never deserved that kind of treatment, I wasn't no criminal I was just being professional & doing My job I didn't need to be treated like shit all the time.. Over silly garbage? rediculious...



A week or two later I go back to dump the trash as usual, As always it's blocked again & I had to take a leak bouncing around in that truck all day drinking much coffee trying to stay awake cause the job is usually 12-14 hrs. or more, Usually we would take a leak behind the cans but I didn't feel like getting arrested & loosing my CPL licence with all the camera's & cops walking around so when I go inside to get the cars moved I have to listen to this jerk of a cop swear & threaten me for the 100th time Then when he was just about done I politley asked him if He had a restroom that I could use...OH BOY that sent him over the edge He came after Me looked like he was going to do bodily injury to Me, Luckily the Chief saw the commotion & asked Me whats was the deal & I told him every time I come to pick up the trash this guy swears & threatens Me I told the Chief I am not a Fing criminal I'm a good guy just trying to do My job & I don't need this guy yelling & swearing & threatening Me every single time just because He has my garbage cans blocked & won't move the cars, I explained to the chief that I was in this hot & nasty stinking ass truck 12-16 hrs a Day & if it were my chioce I'd only work 8-10 hrs a day but they made us work all of those hours & I said that if I had to wait 10 mins at Six stops thats One Hour wasted & added to my day 10 mins @ 12 stops is Two Hours added to my day & I told the cop when the Mayor calls Me & ask's why the trash isn't being picked up that I will tell him why & then I pointed to that cop & said to the Chief That Guy is a A-Hole... & the Chief was real nice & polite & was kissing My ass & I never had a problem with the cans being blocked ever again, maybe a few times & I would blow the horn & they would come out & move the Cars like they should have done from the very beginning. & I never had to deal with that idiot ever again,



Keep in mind the garbage man doesn't want to sit in a hot ass smelly truck 12-16 hrs a Day, He wants to go home like everyone else & the garbage man is not a criminal & shouldn't be treated like one, He is a good guy trying to keep the city safe by reporting crime that he see's in the wee hours of the morning & He try's to keep the city clean & safe..



But in general most cops that I had dealt with were very kind & professional.



Dearborn is a real nice city, Clean & safe but again a handful of cops would harrass the garbage man, They have a noise ordinance from 11;00pm to 7;00 am I had the whole city to dump & other Cities, My company made us start before 3;00am I would roll into Dearborn very quietly & try to go to places that were not near houses & apts first at an idle no lights on when I'm dumping, Bam I would get a $500.00 fine that I was responsible to pay..I even asked the cops why they were picking on Me @ 5;00am when the big noisey diesel busses were running up & down the streets & the big snow plow trucks were running up & down the street at 1;00am & you guys bust me, The cops said that they were doing a job clearing the streets & the busses were picking up people to go to work.. What the hell do you think the garbage man is doing? He's trying to do a job also & trying to keep the city safe & clean.. Sometimes the cops would just follow Me & harrass Me just for driving through the city to get to the next one when I wasn't even dumping trash.. A few times I would be broke down with my engine & lights off sleeping in a big giant shopping mall sleeping & the cops would pull up & give Me a $500.00 fine just for being there.Anyone who has ever driven a truck for a living knows that You have to be at places very early in the morning, You cannot drive a 40 foot garbage truck in a big shopping mall in the middle of the day & dump the trash the cans are all blocked by the customers & You can't dump a Mcdonalds usually in the day because the drive threw is always blocked.. I had 43 Schools to dump daily that need dumped early or the cans will be blocked by 20 cars & even worse how would the cops like it if I ran over a child & killed them. Kids love the garbage man & they run all around the truck & hanging on the back of it while you are trying to back out of the school, I've almost killed a few kids because You cannot see.. But the City of Dearborn didn't care, I've gotten probally 100 $500.00 fines for being in the City before 7;00am most of the tickets were thrown out but I did have to pay some of them & sit in court for Two hours & then go finish my route be out there all night & the Two hours I sat in court would put you Five hours behind because your fighting traffic & everything is blocked, They would pull me over once a week to weigh the truck to see if the truck is overweight even when I showed them the truck is empty they still would hold Me up for at least an hour weighing & doing saftey inspections, What would piss Me off is I would point across the street & show the cop the druggy's & crackhead postitutes & criminals that they were ignoring & bust Me because I was a easy target & they knew I was a model citizen & would not harm them like the crackheads across the street would & plus busting me was easy money for the city..



I've been harrassed by the Dearborn Police so many times just for doing my job & trying to keep the City safe & free of trash.. This one market I would pick-up daily I've always got busted there many times so Months before I got out of the business I would pull in there & ask the other guys on the 2-way what time it was & I would get a response 7;15 am so I would be as noisy as hell & beat the crap out of the dumpsters & sit there & make all kinds of noise packing ect, Them bastards didn't like it when I was there at 6;00 am very quiet with no lights on & I'm sure they didn't like Me at 7;15 am more..lol. One night during the holidays I was behind & probally had 17 hours in & I was pissed off & I was dumping those cans at that market & backing into the street at 9;30 pm when all of a sudden I was surrounded by 3 or 4 cop cars, I was very pissed off & flew out of my truck & I was irrate & said WTF & The cops said did You dump those cans & I said yes, I was pissed He mentioned the noise ordinance & I asked him the time & he said its 9;30 pm & I said the ordinance isn't into effect untill 11;00 so leave Me the F alone, I was pissed off... I've never saw Six cops scramble for their cars & head out like that ever before.. lol.. They knew they were harrassing Me & knew that I was pissed of being in that truck 14-16 hours or more a day..



Dearborn is just a very strict City & in all of my years I have never experience a City like Dearborn & the way that they harrass the honest hard working man trying to do his job, All the other Cities I've worked in the cops have always been great & very helpful & keep an eye on us garbage men making sure we are safe also..



I love cops & have alot of respect for them & 90% are good Guys just doing their job but there are some that can be a-holes, I have some cops friends & a few are jerks also but thats just their demeanor just like everyone else,
