Completely torn on what to go with for P320SC holster

Long story short, ended up with an M&P Shied for a carry gun. I don't shoot it well and I don't want to dump any more money into it to see if I shoot it better. Picked up a SC kit for my P320C and it feels pretty awesome and I want to make it my carry configuration.

I previously used a Stealthgear IWB Mini for my VP9 and P30SK. Both guns were rather heavy and just didn't work as well as I had hoped. If I had went with a full size IWB, it may have been a little better for weight distribution and concealment but both were on the big side for an EDC piece. The P320SC is close to the P30SK size but for sure smaller and probably lighter by a smidge.

I am really tempted to try out the SG AIWB+ and have the option of running it in the 3:30 position also. I really like the idea of an integrated mag carrier and the SG stuff is just top notch. I am worried that the weight of the P320SC will just be too heavy for a single clip setup to ride well in both AIWB and 3:30-4:00 position.

I am worried about running the IWB mini setup and the weight of the P320SC to be just a tad heavy for the platform. I also lose the mag carrier option.

If I don't have to run a full size IWB setup, I would rather not but I will.

I am not completely opposed to a full kydex IWB setup with a sturdy clip if there are people with good experiences.

I'm 5'9" 165# medium build 33" waist. I could use to lose 10# which would help with the AIWB comfort but I don't see that happening going into the winter months.

Any experience with a nice, comfortable and secure holster setup for the P320SC would be greatly appreciated!!

IMHO this is no better aiwb holster than JM Custom kydex. I have 3 of these and they are fantastic. I would highly recommend getting either the wedge or the claw. I have had SG aiwb holsters and while they are very comfortable, there is no comparison for me, sold them both. I am not at all a fan of hybrid holsters, especially aiwb. In fact my 320sc tore up the stealthgear holster in about 2 months and it was not usable. They were good enough to send a new one but that was it for me.

Personally I prefer not to have an integrated mag system, for me they just take up way to much real estate. I know many like those but it wasn't for me, I prefer a single mag carrier that I can move.

i went through a lot of carry holsters for my p320 before i settled on the stealth gear onyx

nothing is more comfortable than it and they have a 15% off sale going on right now along with a guaranteed before christmas delivery time if ordered this week, a lot better than waiting the 3 months i did for mine.

I use the SG AIWB for my 320SC. (actually got the carry/compact size, but the SC frame fits fine, as long as its the railed version with the Compact length slide). It handles the weight no problem.

FYI, SG now ships the AIWB with two clips - you can check with them about the AIWB+

Thanks. I tried the AIWB from SG with both single and double clips with my P30SK and it just didn't fit my needs.

I just got a pretty decent price on a nice Kydex setup from the classifieds here. Going to give that a try and go from there. Worst case is I order a SG IWB setup if it doesn't work out.

I IWB my 320C on a SC frame in a Clinger Stingray at 4:00. Clinger is a site sponsor here.

I use one Kytex single mag carrier at 10:00 for carry, and two Kytex carriers side-by-side for competition. They are excellent and have very small footprints on the belt.

I have tried several makes of holsters for my p320 c but seems lik the one I bought 11 or 12 years ago still is the best option for me . That's a key word here . What works for me may not for you . My choice is a Comp-tac Neutral .

Its highly adjustable for cant and height , works well with the typical FBI cant or zero cant . I even manage to carry a couple thinner handguns with a rear cant at 2:00 This is a Hybrid design and when I bought mine it was for a kahr and there was no p320 kydex body available 2 years ago for the p320 but hey had a p250c body and it works well . The no rail SC also works fine in the compact that it does not matter - BUT the m&p9c body works well with the P320 sub compact like it was made for it . Wife has the same rig but for a m&p9c and found her little sig fits it well too .

Check out Theis holster. I have one for my 250sc (owb) and an "all kydex" for my S&W Shield. I like them both.
