Sneaky Pete Holsters anyone?

This is a discussion on Sneaky Pete Holsters anyone? within the Concealed Carry forums, part of the Gun Forum category; Just saw an advertisement for these. Kinda of different. In some states it would look just like an ugly fanny pack kind of thing....

Looks too much like a Geek sized calculator holster.
but like Bgrant says, what ever trips your trigger.

I see them here in Fla. Everyone knows you're carrying when you have it on. No thanks.

Yep. I had one, it worked well for a year or so till everyone began to know what they are.

Even with a little Ruger LCP, it was too big to NOT be noticed (IMHO). So i sent it back. Might want to look into SmartCarry if you are looking for a ultra concealment holster.

Agree with earlier posts. I don't wear 5.11 apparel or gun wear and for the same reason, I won't carry in a pouch that is identified as ccw. The SP are known well enough by now, you're basically open carrying.

Interestingly, I just ordered a SP pocket mag protector for a 938. I thought it a nice touch.

While I do discrete off-body carry every so often... okay, alot durring the week when a belt is not part of my plan once I leave the green suiter's cubicle jungle at division HQ. The man-bag allows for a lot of hardware to be carried comfortably. It screams "gun" though, so I might as well be OC on a battle belt. Anyhow, the Sneaky Pete looks to chunky to be belt mounted. Is it meant to be worn or carried like a day planner?
