I'm assuming they are speaking of a FN 57. Funny how they didn't mention the name of the weapon as they were so quick to announce the Kel Tec he used was manufactured in neighboring Cocoa. I wonder if the Martin family will Sue Kel Tec and maybe the ammo manufacturer, too, ala the beltway sniper case.

That wanabe is going to get his due. He stalked that kid and the kid fought BACK. There is no stand your ground when you start the confrontation. By the way ,his "Wounds" looks superficial to me.

I was not aware of the FN 5.7 purchase. Those are expensive and ammo is not common.

I would be curious if he got it for the ammo capacity.

Any rational person who reviews the evidence that has been made available would have no choice but to conclude that Zimmerman acted in self-defense. His only crime is being an idiot and being less of a minority than the one who died.

For those who don't understand what happened, read the entire police transcript and watch the interrogation videos that have been released. Writing things here from ignorance, relying on what you have been spoon-fed by the liberal media, is, well, ignorant. Educate yourselves before you comment.

When someone says they are going to kill you, as Martin told Zimmerman, it becomes self defense.

Don't believe me? It's called making terroristic threats (many states have laws against "terroristic threats") against someone. You cannot threaten to kill someone and not expect someone to defend themselves.

Common sense also tells me that Martin said some things to instigate (that means coerce him out of his vehicle) a confrontation/fight with Zimmerman. Contrary to your belief, Martin's own tweets show that he was not a pillar of the community.

You really need to go investigate the facts of the case, instead of relying on your emotions in making decisions.

Personally, it pisses me off that idiots like him tarnish opinions toward all gun owners, and those who responsibly conceal carry. He's no hero to me.

Since when is what Zimmerman claims was said by Martin considered the Absolute truth? I personally dot think Zimmerman should be convicted, based on a lack of evidence, but your argument is based on believing everything Zimmerman (who has already shown a propensity for lying to the court) claims happened that day.

Only one person knows what really happened that night. You can either believe him, or not.

Speculating about what you think might have happened is perfectly normal, but fighting over it is downright stupid.

I do think Aztex has a valid reason to be concerned about how the media will continue to use this case in its agenda to turn the public's opinion about guns. But it's pretty twisted to call someone a stalking killer just because you're AFRAID that the case is going to affect your rights. Quit being afraid of the media!

I'll take what Zimmerman has said in a sworn statement over media speculation/twisting of the truth any day of the week. NBC has already fired 3 people over the Zimmerman case.
