M&P Shield

I like the SA XDs. It's only slightly longer and wider than the shield, and a little shorter. (Probably about the same height with the extended 7-round mag.) I haven't shot mine too much yet, but so far I find the recoil very manageable. I was thinking about replacing my P238 with a 938 or a 290, but I may just use the XDs all the time.

I like the shield. It's a great concealed carry and shoots very well with little to no recoil in 9mm. Have not had any ftf or fte with over 1000 rounds thru it. It's an accurate little bugger at SD range. I IWB and don't even notice that I've got it on.
Unfortunately, it's still elusive out there in the LGS.

I had a Shield for a short time, it was a beautiful shooting gun and thier is no better trigger on a striker fired gun. I sold my shield because I bought it for concealled carry and for me I did not like it for that it was to big for me. I now have the Sig P290 and love it for concealled carry. I also like the BG 380 from S&W for concealment.

Awesome little gun. I had a hard time deciding between the Shield and 938 but ultimately the smaller size of the 938 won out. The shield shoots really well and if you are not trying to pocket carry and want a small striker fired pistol it is the best on the market right now imo.
