Then those aren't .357 Sig -exclusive. Those are .40 cal mags that will take .357 Sig. At least...to my knowledge.
It's like .357 Mag and .38 Special chambering on a revolver - one fires from the other, but not vice versa.

OP i would opt .40 for the simple fact is that the rounds are cheaper than the 357 Sig.

and if you look at all the ballistics testing the differences between the heavier round (9mm and up) are MAYBE a 10% difference in first shot don't get back up percentage.

round placement and the second round should be more than enough to put down the Zombie attack

MT357Mag, That's not always the case. Some years ago, I ordered a .357 SIG barrel for my .40 239. Customer Service at SIG insisted I buy a .357 magazine as well. That magazine caused repeated malfunctions in my gun, and I promptly got rid of it. The .40 magazines worked perfectly with .357 SIG ammo.

I also liked carrying inside the pants holster although I was informed that for a woman it was better to carry up front instead of behind. Never have gotten used to that.

The 357Sig is a cut down 40 cartridge to fit a 9 bullet. That is why the Sig magazines are stamped 40/357.

When it came out a lot of ballistics tests were done. Bottom line the 125 grain 357Sig is equivalent to a 357 Magnum revolver in horsepower with the benefit of more rounds in a clip. Larger grain bullets were not a equal. Highway patrols favor them as well.

My packing for personal defense caliber in my Sig P250F is 45acp. When going on training I use the 9mm barrel because of the cost of ammo. The exchange kit for the 357Sig I use where velocity and maybe a bit more distance is an issue because of the straight line trajectory.

IMHO, I feel the .357 is better in a wheel gun, I've owned several and it performs very well in them, but the rimmed cart is just better in a cylinder....it's always there!
