Have one in Ohio and a non-resident FL Conceal Permit. Mine in FL is signed by Charles Bronson. You have to be careful as some states that honor a FL License will not honor the non-resident license FL Permit.

TX & WA but I let the WA expire. I would have had to fly back up there to renew it and just not worth the hassle. My TX permit gets me most of the states.

I live in Texas and I was wondering if anyone has gotten a Virginia Non Resident permit. I see ads for this Online Concealed Carry Class stating you can take this class and apply for the Virgina non resident permit and it be honored in Texas. States that it is only a 45 day turnaround for Virginia but Texas states that there is a 7 to 9 month backlog on permit issues. I want to get my CCW but really a 9 month wait. |

I keep my homestate (SC) CWP active, plus Florida and New Hampshire. That covers most anywhere I'm likely to travel. I would really like to see national reciprocity enacted however.

Goin to New Hampshire for ccl at sig academy they will apply for Maine FL and Utah giving me 38 states on a non resident permit(s) Upon completion of the course they do the picture finger printing and all three apps while on site! Worth the $295 for me but so far I have to put my toys away before entering New Jermany (buying that new 938 when there, with a 20% discount! They'll ship to my ffl in NJ and I'm good to go!) With the pending bill in the senate hr 822 ALL states will have to honor your non resident permit i.e. truckers that cross country. although you still can't catty in your RESIDENT state with a non res permit but it's better than the "nothing" we have now! You others Jersey guys should look in on this the class is 2/18/12 8 hour course. Bring your lunch there's nothing near the Sig Academy! lol |

I know everyone knows this but it's worth reiterating, just because you have reciprocity doesn't mean the laws are the same. When you are carrying in another state make sure you are compliant with their laws.

I may be getting a job that require travel through/to PA. I think I can get a PA permit with my Ohio permit and some coin.

| Absolutely no one wants "national reciprocity" forced by the federal government. Educate yourself.
