Does anyone here cc a full size? I own a p250 full size and am trying to go about figuring a way to cc it. Thus far, I can't find a decent IWB holster. I should probably get a crossbreed as they seem to get excellent reviews everywhere I look and custom mold for each pistol model.

I don't have the build to comfortably cary a fullsize. if i did attempt it though i would not screw around with anything but a .45, probably a 1911.

Problem is its the only handgun I currently own..... I could carry my m1 garand, but that would just be too obvious... Also, I chose a 9mm because I find it easy to shoot with a quick target acquisition and reacquisition after firing. I am a firm believer in the "it doesn't matter how big the bullet is if you can't hit what your shooting at" mindset. So I believe a well-placed shot in a lower caliber is more beneficial than a wild shot with a higher caliber. I also believe that when a gun is pointed at someone, the intimidation factor of carrying a full size of an unknown (to them) caliber can stop a shot from ever getting fired. By no means am I knocking anybody who chooses to carry a smaller weapon or a higher caliber than I do. It is just what works for me. |

FWIW, I carry a p220r Elite in a de santis 'cozy partner' IWB. It works well and is, for me, very comfortable. Just my .02, Hope it helps. |

I have the p250c in .40. I find that hard to cc, but all I have (so far) is sig's paddle holster. Really comfortable to carry and not to bad in the winter with bulky cloths, but will be obvious in warmer weather. I just ordered an IWB holster that I will try and see how it looks/feels.

Yeah but the Garand would be hella effective!!!!! I alternate from P220/P228 and Colt Combat Commander. I use a strong side carry in a hi ride belt holster or string side IWB holster, all with thumbsnap retention made by Galco. It requires a loose outer layer of clothing...usually a collared shirt untucked and partially buttoned but it works. Also can be ok under a polo or pull over..both loose. It's not as easy a carry as with sub/micro pistols but if I ever am in a lethal force confrontation I want a weapon/caliber I can count on and I am very familiar with. Cheers. | |

Alessi makes some fine IWB holsters and list the P250. Comp-tac makes some fine IWB too but I don't know if they do the P-250. N82Tactical can fit you to. Lots of options for good comfortable holsters I think. I carry plenty of full size guns but the best rigs are a Milt Sparks Summer Special 2 with a SA 1911A1 and a Comp-tac Infidel Ultra with my glock 22. I can carry either scenario and typically forget I am carrying, they are that comfy. |

Tommy Theis makes a very comfortable IWB. I carry full size 1911 and forget it's there. theisholsters.com Don't forget the most important aspect of IWB carry, a good quality, thick belt. Concealment Solutions and A&G Leather have fine offerings. sent from my rotary dial phone using tapatalk2 |
