My favorite is the Comp-Tac/Minotaur MTAC carried in the 4:00-5:00 range. I like it so much that I have a couple of them - the bodies can be changed out, but I don't find that very practical if you have more than one carry gun. I have two main carry guns that I use based on the clothing that I am wearing on a particular day, and it can be annoying to need to change the bodies out last minute if you're in a hurry to get somewhere. That being said, I have found it to be the best concealing and most comfortable IWB holster for me.

Suggestions on a IWB holster for the 239, Any that You can think of that isn't so hard on the guns finish, I know all carry guns will get nicked & scratched ect.. I have a leather Bianchi IWB holster & leather is very hard on the firearms finish & I'd like to keep my Sig looking good longer if I can.. What other holsters that are out there that are not so hard on the guns finish... I also Have a Fobus Paddle holster for My Sig & Glock & I like it .. Thanks |

Kinda depends on requirements. Currently a Comp-Tac Infidel w/P220 or RKBA pocket w/P238.

I have had a few IWB holsters for my Sig P239, but none of them work as well, or as simple as Dale Fricke's Arch Angel. I now own two, and it's the only holster I have purchased for more than one firearm. I have a Milt Sparks Versa Max2, Fobus 360 Roto, Galco Comfort, and a D.M. Bullard Texas Carry I'm still waiting on.. So I have tried a few. I realize that the AIWB isn't for everyone.. but it works very well for me and my Sig p239[attachment=202:holster wear.jpg]. |

another vote for the comp tac infidel IWB holster and a galco leather OWB for the 229. i have used a comp tac MTAC IWB for my G21 with good success in hiding it under an overshirt. now a days i have to OC using a bladetech thigh rig for the USP .45.

I've been using the Alessi Talon. Rides high and the nylon clip has never given me any problem.

The few IWB holsters I have tried out so far don't feel comfortable to me with the medium to large automatic handguns, Maybe My pants & belt are to tight, Maybe i'm just a big boy... I kind of like uncle mikes holsters for the SOB.. I did have one that was getting kind of wore out & it was getting alot of felt material allover my gun so I had to clean the gun more often.. |

MS VMII for premium, and don't forget about a Uncle Mike's #15 or #16 on the cheap end. I use the Uncle Mike's to store in my nightstand, glovebox, etc. The VMII is the most comfortable I've used thus far.

I always carry in condition one and prefer some sort of active retention but have never been a fan of straps. My go-to rig of choice for my EDC Kimber Ultra CDP II is a Bianchi CarryLok on a 5.11 Tactical 1.75" leather belt... ![]() It offers a great combination of an open top holster with active retention that keeps my Kimber nice and secure. Unlike most other holsters of its kind, the release lever sits just behind the trigger guard and is designed to be operated with the middle finger. This placement allows your index finger to operate freely and align with the trigger while drawing your weapon. It's a very sturdy holster and when used with a purpose built gun belt the rig is as solid as they come. You can see in the photo that the fully loaded pistol stands straight up in the holster on its own. It comes in a variety of sizes and molds for 1911s, revolvers, and a variety of other pistols. I'll be picking up another one this week for my newly acquired P220 Elite Stainless. |
