When I bought my XD-40 I bought a Tagua OWB holster at my local shop. It does what I wanted it to do and when I got my SIG SP2022 it fit the same holster. I really like reading about the IWB holsters but since I'm rather large and don't have the room to spare in my Wranglers and don't want to buy new pants I guess that I will stick with what I've got. Maybe some day I will be able to go with an IWB.

OWD does sound more comfortable but I do not know how well I'd be able to cover it up. Not this time of year at least.

My favorite holster is the Milt Spaks VMII. The only draw back is a 7 months wait or you going to pay an extra $50 if you want it right away. I used to have the Crossbreed supertuck but I prefer the MS VMII since it is easier to put on.

My daily carry style is my P220 in a Galco SOB on a 2 1/4" Carry Belt (carry belt is made by Leatherman Jacks out of Medford,Oregon), I am a local supporter when I can be.

Also use a Serpa Holster, Milt Spaks and I use to rock a Crossbreed.

I use Crossbreed holsters too, very comfortable. When I can carry owb, I like the Hume H721 for my p245

Do you wear it on the outside like this?

I suppose you'd not have any other choice. Looks like you'd just have to wear long-ish shirts.

I usually carry a Kimber Custom TLE II in a Blackhawk "Check Six" holster. I can manage this in warm weather covered by a t-shirt and a second, unbuttoned shirt. In cooler weather, I either use the same rig, or swap it out for a Glock 21 in a Serpa CQC under a heavier shirt or light jacket.

When I finally get to bring a SIG home, I'm thinking about an MTAC or Crossbreed to go along with it.

My Sig 239 in “A Better Holster Shirt” (compression style holster shirt) and my S&W 340PD in a Mike’s pocket holster.

I own several Crossbreed holsters and they are a great product, but unfortunately have a bad hip that will not allow IWB style carry.

For outside the waistband, I like the now discontinued Bianchi holster called PDQ. The front was cut low for a quick draw. There was a locking mechanism for the trigger guard as well as a thumb break to keep the gun secure in the holster. As for the inside the pants holster, years ago, my supplier used to get these cheap no name brand $6 suede inside the pants holsters. Those worked great for my application. It was a little bit of a pain to reholster. However, back then, if I ever had to clear leather, I wasn't too concerned about re-holstering. Today, I have a VersaMax II on order. I should get it around the first of the year. Never had any experience with it, but my research showed positive feedback.

I carry my p226 in a rgrizzle town & country. Its like a milt sparks vmii but costs 1/2 as much, only had to wait 7 weeks, & is still hand made to order. Great quality too.

I have one just like that. It works very well. Ive worn in with a full size 1911 in large groups of people and not one was the wiser. It even fit in my regular pants. It snugged things up a bit, but I think I have a few extra pounds since I bought the pants .

I have a Raven, a High Noon Slide Guard (horse hide), and a Texoma Carry Holster. All of these are excellent belt carry holsters.
