Took my chcl class on Saturday it was quite fun after the paperwork and classroom stuff was done. Had a nice grouping within about a 4 inch circle. I was anxious but when it came to the shooting I calmed down and did what I knew to do. Just waiting for later today to file the chcl online and send the rest in the mail.

Well the issue with the Chcl page was fixed and just put my application in, gotta get a manilla envelope for the training certificate and the 10 card of my prints to mail those off.

Assuming Chcl means Concealed handgun carry license, Congratulations!!! I'm from California, and its almost impossible to get one.

You assume correctly sigp229r, got my 10card and certificate in the mail this morning should get there by tomorrow or day after. Hopefully it won't take the entire 120 days to get it approved and the card to me.

Its official I received my concealed license in the mail yesterday, I'd start carrying but don't have a holster yet.

No holster? You're slacking. I had my carry holster well before they mailed the permit, ha.

yeah i know but i just haven't made up my mind fully yet. right now i am looking at getting a crossbreeds holster but i'm not sure if i want the super tuck or the qwickclip. that and i still haven't boughten a gun belt, still shopping around deciding if i want a cheap $30 one or go for a $60 belt. plus once i order the holster i can do more research for arkansas and missouri (the two states i will be in the most) on what is justifiable and also where i am not allowed to go even with a ccl.
