Does anyone know of a holster mfr that makes a holster that you can strap to your chest? Think Chewbacca's belt. When I am riding my mountain bike I would like to carry as I often ride at night and late at night on the weekends. I want a holster that I can get to easily and that means my chest/pectoral area. A backpack reversed kind of thing.

Do you need it to be concealed, or not? I've never seen a concealable holster like that, but I know that there are several small sling bags (Maxpedition and other brands) that have straps that accept attachments. You could get a nylon open-carry holster and some molle straps to attach it. That's about the only thing I can think of that would fit your request.

For reference, here's the pack that I have: http://www.maxpedition.com/store/pc/...ger-2p1436.htm It's a nice size for activity like what you're describing. You can get it cheaper elsewhere, but it will still run you around $70, I think.

Thanks. Just emailed them. It's between this and a safepacker.

You may want to look at a Maxpedition bag, Kifaru or Hill People Gear stuff.
