I'm not sure how cheap these are available elsewhere but I imagine this is a pretty good price. SIG is running a special on them right now that some of you might already know about. But in case you do not... |

I was real tempted by this. Then I read on another forum that some folks see abnormal frame wear on the lowers when they use this kit. I'd be very interested in hearing about anyone's personal experience. (In fact, I originally joined this forum specifically to look for information on this product.) |

They ran an identical special last year, I picked up a Kit for my P226 then. It works great too; the knocked 25% of an extra mag as well. Everything arrived before Christmas, as promised. JB

I have had these from day one. I have all 4 kits. Im not sure what one persons abnormal frame wear would be. But if you place a new slide on a older gun that already has some wear from the first slide I can see it might do a bit different wear. I have one 226 with over 5000 22LRs shot in it and around 2000 9mm and I see no abnormal frame wear. Some things you read on the internet are things that are posted by those who like to copy and repeat what they have read and not know it for fact. ( and the story gets added to or taken away from) Thus some things seem to be a BIG problem when they are indeed not. | |

This is the best deal you will ever see on these kits. I can't sell them for that much and make money. It really is a great deal for the consumer but it kinda screws all the sig dealers that want to run a holiday special. |

I have three kits (P220,P226,P228) no slide wear If ya call them direct, and order extra mags-you might get a price reduction like i did last December |
