Hogue Laser Grips

A couple of years ago I bought a set of Hogue LE grips for the wife's Sig 1911. Recently instead of a dot it sent out a loose snowball then the snowball started to eclipse to a 1/2 moon shape. Called Hogue and was told to try new batteries. When this didn't change things I was asked when and where i bought it. I didn't have a clue or a receipt. I was told to send it in for a determination. While the unit was gone I put the stock grips back on. I keep the gun in a hard plastic holster under a shelf. When I went to get the gun (after Hogue sent me a brand new grip) it wouldn't release until I pushed the button on the holster. I'd forgotten about the retainer because the laser kept the gun from seating. For years I've been beating the laser lens every time it was put away! Thanks Hogue for having my back! They had every reason to deny wty.

2-3 minutes with a Dremel fixed the holster problem.

Sent Camille at hogue a nice shiny bolt action pen today

That's good news that they took care of you. I like companies like that.
