Magwell for Legion SAO. Educate the ignorant PLEASE!

So I recently acquired a Legion P226 SAO and I want to add a magwell at actually a jet funnel. This is my first Sig so I'm learning. I've noticed that the only two choices I have is a magwell from TRT or RoCo. RoCo has the full magwell or the jet funnel. I've seen two distinct kinds but I'm not sure how one of them works. One that clips on and one that screws on. No let me back up just a bit, from my understanding I believe the SAO and the X-Five have the same frame which leads me to the assumption that magwell are interchangable amongst the two models. I'm rambling so let me fit to the chase. I not sure what the screw on mandala screw to. I think it comes with some sort of clip but not sure. I found this post where this guy bought one for his Legion SAO and it screw on just didn't know how it worked. RoCo had both style jet funnels just two weeks ago but now only have the screw on type. It's advertised to be for the X-Five but I wanted to make sure it will work for my Legion SAO. Thanks in advance for any feed back.

I don't believe either magwell from the X-series will work on a U.S.-made P226. The X-series' grip frame is machined differently at the bottom.

I've attached pics of both types of magwells and a picture of an X-5 frame to show the differences.

TRT makes a magwell specific for the Legion. That's where I'd be looking.

TRT website says it will not work with 15 rnd 9mm factory mags? Am I reading that correctly?

Requires Mec-Gar 18 or 20 x 9mm / 13 or 15 x .40 P226 magazines.
15-round (9mm) or 12-round (.40) P226 magazines and 19-round X5 magazines ARE NOT COMPATIBLE (their body is too short).

Does the TRT magwell work with any Legion, as in the p229?

Unless they changed the frame the P226 SAO is designed to use the original X5 magwell. However the TRT looks like a much nicer color for the Legion.
