I am sticking to Slide Glide grease for the frame rails of my SIGs and Weaponshield or M-Pro 7 LPX for other lube needs. An unhappy forum member on the SIGforum posted pictures of the extra wear on the frame rails of his P226 while using just Frog Lube. I will stick with what I know works. G96 CLP is also supposed to be terrific and has Milspec ratings that surpass what is specified by the military. Last edited by Sigarms228; 12-08-2012 at 07:56 AM. |

I have been using FL since it came out on all my firearms. I really like this product and now I use it on all my knives, saws, and steel hand tools. I find more uses all the time. But I would never call any lube the BEST as products and needs change all the time. |

I just bought some Froglube paste from eBay. Since I don't have my SP2022 in yet I thoroughly deoiled my Bersa Thunder 380, heated it with a hair drier, and applied it throughout. Haven't fired it yet. The slide and action does seem smoother and I hear it only gets better with consecutive applications. When I get my Sig in this week I'll degunk it and used conventional lubricants until it is broken in and I can experiment. |

I my self have been looking into frog lube for some time now and since i got my ss sig 1911 i have wanted to try it out, however an old wise man told me when i picked it up that i should used automatics trans fluid. I was shocked at what he said but i went home and not wanting to ruin my 1911 i pulled out my p250 c 9mm and de-oiled it as best i could and then used atf. I havent gotten fire it yet but let me tell you the slide is smoother than ever before and everything seems more crisper cant wait to find out how it is when shoot. anyone ever heard of this or done this before. Frog lube is def on my list to get cant beat american made and from what alot of people say that it just works.

I sent my P229 Special Configuration in to the Sig Custom shop for the works. It had Froglube on it when I sent it to Sig......It came back test fired and clean with a fresh application of Froglube on it. The Custom Shop uses Froglube. I just Froglubed some of my pistols last week. I am gonna try it for awhile. It smells like Skoal so I want a dip when I handle my guns now. I also have Slip 2000 EWL and it is great stuff as well. After Froglubing all the guns in the picture, there was still half a bottle left of the liquid. My LGS carries it for $16.00 for a 4oz bottle and that is all I purchased. I dont think its really that expensive and in the grand scheme of what I spend of guns, its not even a factor. Last edited by Mystro; 02-22-2013 at 08:35 AM. |

FL is not expensive as you use so little each time. That 4oz tub will last a long time and do many guns if applied as FL suggests

For what it is worth - Just treated my p938. Ran 300 Rounds thru it - wiped it clean - ran dry patch down barrel - by third patch it was showing clean - ran wet patch thru - still clean - no new residue removed and barrel was shiny inside. Gun Runs smooth as butter. Appears to work as advertised.

Been using Froglube on my ARs for a while now. A solid product. Works as advertised and it will be my primary weapon maintenance solution. Sent from my ZTE V768 using Tapatalk 2 |
