Fibre-Optic sight on Sig?

Went shooting with my son today (my SP2022, he had S&W 38). He had fibre-optic front sight on his pistol - bright green that really showed up nicely. Has anyone tried this type of non-electrical brighter sight on a SP2022 or other Sig model handgun?

I have a P226 TacOps that came with a truglow front and Siglite rear. I wasn't sure if I would like it at first, but I may be changing out the sights on some of my other pistols. Really very happy with how easy it is to pick up that front post!

Thanks, everyone. Sounds like a consensus that those Truglow green fiberoptic sights are a hit (no pun).

I was also looking at TruGlo TFO sights for my P239, as my original Trijicon sights have lost all their illumination. Sig only offers the TruGlo TFO front sight combined with Siglight rear sights, yet the TruGlo web site shows they sell both front and rear sights for the Sig P239. Any disadvantage to replacing the rear sight as well? Also, TruGlo sells sets of either #6 Front / #8 Rear or #8 Front / #8 Rear. How do I decide which I would need?

The post is a bit older, but just curious if the consensus would be that TruGlo TFO sights for a Sig P239 SAS Gen 2 (9mm) would be the #8/#8. Also, are they easy to install? Any special tools needed? Or is it better to take them to the gun shop and have them do the install? Another question would be - what are the other sights to be considered? I find that the factory sights on my P239 aren't bright enough for me.

I own night sights by several manufacturers, including a couple sets of the TruGlo TFO's. The rears on the TFO's are too bright and distracting for my liking, I have them partially obscured. I prefer the Trijicons of all the offerings available for Sig.
