Top Gun usually has the best prices, but I also usually check out MidwayUSA as well, and sometimes Brownells has decent prices. I guess it just depends on who has the best supply at the moment, but Top Gun is usually the best for SIG mags.

Thanks for the replys brothers. I am comfortable with TopGun as I have ordered from them before just not for mags (357sig bbl) I need to order more since I think I will order another 229. Summit Gun Broker has law inforcement tradeins for $465.00 (sale Price)right now, some have rails and some dont but all have night sights.I ordered some trade in Beretta Cougars from there about 3 years ago and they were in better shape than Mark described to me over the phone. I just wish I had the funds to order 2 or 3 more to use as trade fodder.

You usually can't go wrong buying from Top Gun. I've bought from them for years, and have always gotten great, prompt service. Whenever I order mags from them, I usually get them within 3-4 days.

And pre-owned LE SIGs are often a very good deal. Surprisingly, LE firearms often don't get a whole lot of use. Most LEOs are not really avid shooters, and don't shoot that often. Most of my cop friends shoot once a year at annual in-service training, but that's about it. So, while their firearms may have a lot of holster wear from frequent holstering and unholstering, they often haven't had that many rounds through their barrels.

Try CDNN online. Good consistent low pricing and fast delivery. Don't be afraid of MegGar mags. Stay away from most others.

Sirsigalot here:
I live here in Tallahassee and I'm lucky to have a Sig dealer in town but he doesn't cut no slack on price so I think I'll go with some of ur suggestions.

Thought I would give both an update and an heads up.

Mark over at Summit put his used P229 mags on sale for $18.00 bucks.
So I ordered 7 on Thursday night and today (Monday) they came in.
I have 6 Mec-Gar and 1 German made mags, all are LEO marked, 5 are
phosphate coated and 2 are blued. Finish is a bit worn (they are used).
The springs are in good shape as are the followers.
No rust and the base plates on 4 look like they have never hit the ground
and the other 3 look better than my others do after a few days of training.
Of the 7 only the German mag is not dated. The other 6 are dated 9/14/94.
Over all I am very happy, I just wish I had the funds to order more.

Greg Cote has consistently provided me with prompt service, good prices, and quality magazines. Factory or Mec Gar is the only way to go. I think it is www.GregCoteLLC.com

I second that. I placed and order with Greg and he called me on the phone to verifiy exactly what county I lived in since my address could be in Crook County, Illinois. We ended up talking for about 20 minutes. Got the package a couple days later.
