Tactical britches

Ive gone through all manner of tactical cargo pant, from tru spec to tru blu 5.11's, and to be honest, I havent found anything better than my BDU trousers

Closest I've found were LAPG britches, but I'm really looking for something a bit more functional. These trade function for fad/fashion in a few places that I detailed in an email to the manufacturer.

Anyone know of a good set of britches with all the features I'm looking for?

Cargo pocket: accordian expansion on all sides not just the back/bottom. Flap closure not velcro. No stupid hole through flap into pocket to "hold pens" aka lose all your s***!

back pocket: Velcro flap, this is the one place I want velcro, I don't care about noise control when reaching for my wallet at the grocery store, as a matter of fact I would rather like the pick-pocket alert.

Anyone know of anything that meets these specifications?

Hmm. Something that meets ALL of your desired specs is a pretty tall order. In particular, not a lot of spiffy tacticool cargo pants/shorts have the fully gussetted expansion pockets anymore. I happen to like Vertx pants and shorts. They have all the features you want except the full accordian style pockets. Their pockets have an expansion pannel in the center. I personally like them, and they meet my needs, but unfortunately, they're pretty pricey.

I think the current trend is to keep the cargo pockets a little more low-profile so they're not quite as prominent. Of course, that's going to limit their capacity a little.

Anyway, I'll keep looking around and if I happen across any pants that I think you'd like I'll let you know.
