I bought a $19 Husky Tool bag from Home Depot that works perfect as a range bag. It has internal and external pockets that are great for holding mags, tools, etc. Why pay the high prices for name brand range bags when these work perfect.

That's what I am doing right now, I have a craftsman tool bag that I bought for $3 on black friday, was thinking of getting one of the actual range bags though

Great feedback after we got over the murse thing.

I never thought about utube as a resource.

Guess I'm to old for utube to be the first thing I go to for poop.

Old farts need to shoot and need shooting junk just like you younguns.

I have a lot of bags, but one is always with me, it pretty much lives in the truck and is as much at home in the duck blind on a cold rainy day as it is sitting on the table in an indoor range or wandering the sporting clays course. Flota even with a heavy load. Extremely water resistant, and just had the classic old time look and feel some of us love.

I'm not sure if you are a fan of leather vests or not. The NRA sells a bull hide vest of great quality with two inside pockets that have wide elastic straps in them for carrying your firearm. Right or left handed, or if you are like me, I put a gun in each pocket "just to even things out"

It also has two pockets on the exterior which work perfect for additional items, like mags and such. Check it out.

Midway bag is good stuff. Picked one up and it is much easier to carry everything in compared to the old backpack I was using.

Now that I have one, I'm disappointed I didn't invest in one sooner!

I'm in this camp. I use a messenger/laptop bag that carries everything perfectly. A big black bag that says "Sig Sauer" on the side might as well say "break into my car and steal me". My two cents at least.

I have a 5.11 PUSH Pack. My brother joked that I had a murse. Then he found out what I carried in it, and he stopped joking about it. It's great for when I'm on a long road trip, or traveling along the coast. Put a pair of binoculars and a camera, everyone thinks you're sight seeing. It's also great for going to the range. I can put everything I need in the bag, if I'm only going to shoot one gun that day.

If ur like me and have several boxes of ammo with multiple firearms and magazines for my AR then u must have a bag to tote it around. Keep some oit and a few tools in da bag incase u have malfunctions at da range.

Craftsman tool bag for me. I won this bag as a door prize at a car show I had entered. This carries my extra mags, ammo, hearing and eye protection. I also have an aluminum 4 pistol gun case to house the guns when going to the range.

Soft Rifle Cases & Shooting Range Bags by Red Oxx

In my job, I carry a heavy bag with all my work gear in it. It goes with me up and down ladders, in and out of hotels, crew vans, etc...

I used to go through a duffel bag every 6 months. I bought a RedOxx bag, and it was the best purchase I made.

Their stuff is a little expensive, but well worth it.

I have a Bulldog bag. It fits my gun, ear and eye protection and range ammo. I could go a little bigger, but I wanted the bag to fit my motorcycle saddle bag. It is big enough for me. I could probably fit a second gun in it.
And I can pretend to be a pro at the range
