What type of a holster are you looking for? Where are you looking to wear it on your body?

What Glitch said..... You looking for Leather, Nylon or Plastic's?? My Holsters that I like for my 226 are;

Leather - Bianchi 3s, Inside the Pants

Plastic - Blackhawk Sherpa CQC Carbon Fiber, Comes with both Paddle and Belt Options. I may look into the New SIG Plastic Holsters

Nylon - Eagle SAS Mark VI Safety, Tactical Drop Leg. I know this type prob is not what your looking for, but it is the only Nylon I have really used.

I have used these for many years. Good luck to yah, I hope you find one that works for you. A comfortable Holster can make all the difference, especially if your wearing every day.

I carry mine in either a CrossBreed Supertuck or a Galco SkyOps depending upon where I'm going. Both work very well.

After doing some research, here's what I've chosen for my p239 over the years:

- I have a Dale Fricke holster for IWB appendix carry.

- A Fobus Roto paddle holster for OWB carry.

- And a D. M. Bullard "Texas Conceal Carry" on the way for SOB carry.

I looked at CrossBreed, but would probably go for a ComTac due to the ability to adjust the carry height, and change weapon platforms. Though CrossBreed offers more leather, (IE potentially more comfortable) the economical use of 1 ComTac holster for multiple handguns makes more sense to me.

I've also been told that Milt Sparks' "Versa Max 2" IWB and Raven's "Phantom" IWB holsters are top-notch quality holsters as well. Both of those have some devout followers. Milt Sparks appears to be kind of a legend, and Ravens platform is adjustable, similar to ComTac. Galco makes a nice OWB SOB holster as well. I don't have any personal experience with these last three, but linked them for you.

Good Luck! Let us know what you decide!

Galco is what I’ll probably go with for my new P220. The guy at the store where I picked my gun up at had nothing but praise for Galco holsters. He has been to the Galco factory, and seen how they are made. Form fitted to each gun, and the gun isn’t going to fall out on its own. Galco was on my list to look at already, but it’s on top of the list now.

Red face Fobus SG-21

The best holster that I use for my Sig Sauer P220 Compact is the Fobus SG-21. The fit of the holster is very comfortable and lite, it's like I don't even know that I'm wearing it. The gun fits perfectly in the holster. I also use the Fobus GL-36 for my Glock 36 and I love it.
