| P290 mag release mod
I was wondering if anyone has attempted to dremel down or cut down the mag release button so it doesnt stick out so far. I have had the mag dislodge accidentally once already. I would not think it would be very hard to do. |

I removed the mag release and it is solid steel. What I did was press the mag release until the mag just released. Then I held it in that position and scribed around the button. Then I removed it. Ground it down almost to the scribe mark, polished it back up and blued it. It looks really nice and operates perfectly. No more accidentally released mags in my pocket either.
