Lightbulb Homemade SP2022 Storage Case

Here is a storage/carry case I made for my sp2022. I took the aluminum case some old hair clippers came in and I bought a camping mat (blue closed cell) from Wally world and cut to fit and covered in self adhesive felt I found in the craft section. Wanted a case that would hold the 2 extra mags.

Now that my SP2022 is my EDC it doesn't see the inside of it very much.

Case looks great. I know this isn't a part of "gun projects", but what holster do you use to carry your SP2022?

I use a blackhawk sportster ambi holster with mag pouch attached. Bought it at walmart for about 20 bucks. I think it is a size 5. It's the one for large barrels 3.75 to 4.5 inches. I put the clip on for left hip carry to make a right hand IWB carry. I have found that it is real comfortable for all day carry. We got back yesterday from a two day vacation and walking around all day I almost forgot I had it on and sitting and driving is not an issue either.

Very nice, Kenny.
For my 2022, I actually use a gray and blue Wenger netbook sleeve. Gun slides right in, two to three mags fit in the side pouch, and the whole thing slips into my range bag.

Nice job Kenny! I am a firm believer in the power of creation. I too made my own from a case that a machine tool cutter came in and wasn't needed at work. My foam cuts aren't very good and I'll cut another one with a hot wire at work. Case even has holes for small padlocks & enough room for 3 more clips when I get them. Only $3.50 for the foam & $1.95 for the small towel. I hope these pix don't come out too big.
