| A little 'Personalization' project for my daughter ## UPDATED
Today I dropped off the frame and sight base (top rail) of the pistol I bought for my daughter to shoot at the refinishers for a touch of personalization. The Duracoated color will be Goddess Purple. I would have rather gone with a Ceracoat finish but there were no 'girly' colors available. Seeing how this is simply a range pistol I am not concerned that it will receive the wear that a holstered pistol may endure. Should be able to pick up the frame and sight base next weekend. I am a certified DuraCoat refinisher myself and refinished my daughter's H&R Handi Rifle in Goddess Purple also (sorry, no pics)! It turned out really nice and I wouldn't be a bit reserved about shooting it at the range myself. The Goddess Purple is dark and rich, not like a Barney purple. Your daughter is gonna love it.

cant wait to see the pics! I have seen a Smith M&P refinished with a purple slide and grip insert. It looked very nice. |

Refinishing is complete and the pistol is back together. I am happy with the results. I think it will suit my daughhter as well.    |
