White Lettering for Your Guns

FYI: If you want to have white lettering here is an awesome inexpensive and easy method to highlight the engraving on your rifle or pistol. Will not come off after hardening and looks great. NOTE: Easy to use, just fill in the engraving with the lacquer stick , wipe off excess with MINERAL OIL with a cloth or paper towel.

( Here is an example from my Taurus )

Snake, that looks really good. I also have a 709 stainless version.

I did the same with my SP2022, but used silver nail polish and non-acetone nail polish remover to cleanup. It came out pretty good. Here are some pics of that work:

To post pictures, you need to have an online place to "store" your pictures. I use Photobucket - it is free: Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket

Once you join Photobucket, you can upload all the picture that you want. Once posted, when you go to your album and hover the mouse pointer over a picture, a window opens showing the URL (http://xxxxxxxxx) of that picture. Click on the URL and it copies it to your clipboard. Then, in the post here in the forum, you click on the "picture" icon and paste the URL of your picture in the box that opens up. You can check it by selecting "Preview" for your post, and modifying/editing as necessary before you actually post the message. Hope this helps!

Looks great, personalizing your weapon in any way is always good.

I used to use "white out" (typing correction fluid) and a little bit of gun scrubber on a rag to wipe off excess.

Hey GeoBob,

What kind of sights are those that you have on your SP2022?

Regards,
