Customizing My P220 Carry

I recently made the acquaintance of Kyle and Nat at Cave State Customs. They do some incredible grip reduction and reshaping work on polymer guns as wells as some really great one color and custom color Cerakote. Kyle's personal carry P220 was done in a burnt bronze while the slide was done in a custom burnt bronze and black "battle scar" finish. The first words out of my mouth were "If you won't leave me your 229, make my 220 look like it's twin brother. Kyle sent me some in progress pics yesterday.

This first pic is the stippling work being done to the grip. The second is a pic of Kyle's P229 with my P220 slide sitting atop for comparison. It should be back in had in less than two weeks and I will post some completed pics at that time. In the meantime, check them out on Facebook, Instagram and the web.

The ones on my P220 aren't E2, they are the two piece grips. I am on the hunt for a set of G10's that will compliment the work CSC's is doing.

Just after starting the thread Kyle sent me an updated in-progress pic that shows the frame

I love the look of the slide. I'm not loving the hammer, though.
