So, I did some research and the only gripe I found that was they had joined numerous forums to plug the business without paying for advertising. I did find someone on Calguns with a high post count that had good luck so I took a chance & ordered 3 raw 80% .308 lowers on 13 Aug. On 24 Aug I received them. They were well packaged and in good shape. I ordered them raw so I could have them anodized after finishing them. They are billet pieces and will require some polishing but the tool marks aren't too bad. 400 paper should clean them up nicely. Other than a couple of spots where their CNC toolpath could use some touch up, and were talking minor, I'm pleased.

A couple of questions, since I haven't seen their advertising. What alloy? Do they include a jig, or have one available to finish it?

To be honest, the only reason I would try one, is for price offset with a finished unit. Case in point, a couple of years ago, Anderson Manufacturing in Kentucky had finished AR-15 type receivers for less than $50 each, and an 80% receiver with jig was around $80 at the time. I will let you surmise which way I went....JMHO!

Alloy is 7075-T6

Yes they have jig sets, but jigs are of no concern to me as I have a Bridgeport milling machine on which I will finish them.

I probably won't save that much money by the time I have them engraved and anodized, but I had other reasons for doing 80%ers as well.

Edit: I got the "raw" version, $89.00. I wanted to anodize after machining so no bare aluminum after.
