training courses

This is a discussion on training courses within the Gun Tactics forums, part of the Gun Forum category; i am interested in taking some more advanced practical/tactical training but there are so many of these places that offer "the best" etc...has anyone here ...

i am interested in taking some more advanced practical/tactical training but there are so many of these places that offer "the best" etc...has anyone here gone to any of these to provide feedback? they are pretty expensive and i dont want to invest in one and be disappointed and feel like i wasted my time/money. thanks in advance.

iraq. when i do come back toward the end of the year ill be located in central texas till i pcs. im still undecided but i think i will be going to ft leonard wood in missouri by mid next year. im interested in pistol, carbine, shotgun, long range rifle...pretty much anything.

When I get home tonight I will look at my lil black book and see who is close to where you will be when you get back and let you know.

I think Magpul And Costa Ludus regularly come to Texas. Might check their class schedules.

I can vouch for both. Both are top notch training IMO.

Is gunsite in Arizona what you are looking for also SIG has a school. Gunsite is from Jeff the 45 geru

In central Texas, I highly recommend KR training with Karl Rhen. He teaches everything from intro to firearms, CHL , defensive pistol, to advanced force on force.
