I cannot believe it out of all the Gun's that I said I would not buy again I just went out & bought a new Glock, I'm really shocked.. I went to the LGS to see if He had any Baretta Nano's & He didn't have any & I saw a few 3rd Gen Glock 26's & 27's & I really love the size of the G-26/27's & I thought It would be wiser for Me to buy the G/27 because it is a 40 cal & more universal than the G/26 & I can buy a 9mm,40 & 357 Sig barrel for it & as far as I know the G/26 I'm not a 100% that a 40cal or 357 Sig cal barrel will work in the G/26 & anyways 27 has always been my favorite number since I was a kid.. Besides the fact that I really love the size of the G26/27's this one looks really nice it's the Two Tone version with the Enox slide I think it's called & The barrel is brushed & not black, So after I played with it for a while I fell in love with it believe it or not & after some thought I went home & traded in My G/29 10mm that I never shoot much anymore thinking 10mm ammo is harder to get & more expensive then 40 cal & I have quite a few guns that shoot 40 cal & I can do more with a 40 cal gun like switch barrels, On my G/29 if I want to shoot 45 cal I need to buy a whole slide & it wont take a 9mm barrel anyways I'm trying to get rid of some of my larger guns & buy a few smaller easy to carry & conceal guns, I do owe some $ on the new G/27 but I should get it out of layaway within 30 days..

Thanks Reliable, I never thought that I'd buy another Glock, I don't hate Glocks They are good guns I am just not use to them & hate when You pull the trigger with an empty gun the trigger sounds & feels like it's a toy but I do like them but I love My Sigs alot more, Anyways I got rid of My G/29 so it's not like I have Two Glocks...lol.. I didn't shoot my G/29 latley since I got My Sigs & I carry those & shoot those the most but I'm sure that I will carry & shoot this G/27 alot more because I really like it's size compared to the G/29

BTW..Is that a Pierce grip extention or the other brand & does it hold One extra round, I like the Pierce better but the ones on My G/29 wont fit the 27

I think I'm gonna like this gun It carry's very well and also this gun fits well in a lot of my holsters that are for My 239 Sig which is a plus..

Yes Sir: This is a Glock that I said that I will never buy or any Glock for that matter..

I think I'm gonna like this LiL Gun a lot, The barrel isn't black

but polished & kind of looks Black Chrome I know that Glock is known for

very stiff Mag Springs My thumbs use to get sore & bleed when loading My

G/29 10mm But this lil pistol has a very H.D. recoil spring in it & I'm

having a hard time locking the slide back even without a mag..even pushing the

reciever forward while pulling back on the slide.. I know sometime the lil guns

are harder to operate the slide than the big auto's due to their size ect.. I

don't remember having this much trouble at the Gun shop the other day playing

with it but this recoil spring is mighty stiff..

Part of my problem is I burnt the shit out of my little fingertips the other day & the tips are kind of hard & very sore & there isn't very much depth in the slide serrations & not much to grasp in the first place & the slide on this Gun is coated with some kind of Nickel teflon coating thats is to be very good but it also is very very slippery at times.. Does anyone know anything about the coating on this Gun I think it is called EXO & do you like it? I hope I will but in the last few days I don't know if its the coating or my fat little burnt fingers that are giving me a hard time but It's all Good.. I'll leave the slide locked back for a few Days & try to go out & shoot this gun & try to take some of the tension out of the recoil spring while hopefully my fat little fingers heal up.. But This lil gun sure has a stiff recoil spring in her, Everything will be ok & just wanted to know what others thought about this Nickel teflon like coating & their thoughts if they had it on their pistols.

Hope everyone had a Great Thanksgiving..

I just remembered an old technique I haven't used in years because I've never really had too.. Instead of using your thumb & index finger to grasp the slide serattions (what little & shallow depth they are) and moving the slide back rearward Or wrapping your fingers around the top of the slide to manipulape the slide back, I remembered something I've taught myself a very long time ago that I forgot & works great on theses small auto's.

(1) make sure the gun is unloaded..Put your thumb & index finger knuckle on the front of the slide surrounding the barrel & push rearward.. The slide goes back very easily, This is Very simple & stupid but works very easily when your fingers are injured or the slide is oily & you cannot get a good grasp to manipulate the slide.... I really wouldn't advise doing this at all if the pistol is loaded, if you do keep your hand away from the barrel.

Just someting easy & very helpful if your fingers are ever injured & you need to use your pistol..

OK, let me see if I got this correct ?

You traded in a Glock in 10mm. That has available loads from "really wimpy" all the way up to more than .357 Magnum ?

For a Glock in 10mm "light". Oops, I mean .40 S&W ?

You have violated my First Prime Directive.

I will NEVER sell or trade ANY gun once it is in MY possession.

I learned the hard way.

I've never sold a gun.

The only one I every traded was the Win. Model 12 pump I bought as a young kid. Mail-ordered for $93. Yes, I am very old.

Traded as part payment for my first racing motorcycle. Which led to a lifetime of various "orthopedic events" at various racetracks.

Damn, I miss that gun.

OK, I guess I'll buy the "ammo $$$" reason.

Yes I've never sold a gun before either I always kept them I had quite a few I'd buy 3-4 a year, Now I'm getting a little older & would rather have 15 High quality guns than 40 guns that are so so & unreliable, When I purchased the G/27 I was looking for the Nano & after playing with the G/27 for a while I really liked it but didn't have all the money then I started thinking how can I raise the Money for this G/27 & the G/29 popped in my head.. I also want to own a few smaller guns I've had big Ole 357 Mags & 44's & full size 45's & 9mm's & want to own a few smaller ones, The G/29 was around 14 years old I believe it was a great gun but I didn't carry it as much since I purchased My Sigs because I like those the best.. I'm sure that I will carry this G/27 quite a bit due to I love the size of it, Maybe as a backup when carrying my 239..

I'll miss the G/29 I did sell a few real nice shotguns a few Years ago a Remington 1187 preimere Gold & My Browning Gold that I loved so much The Browning was beautiful & I still kick myself for selling those..

I sell one once a year at least but this is decreasing. My pistol setup is down to 3 (all I can use or need) and my long guns to two. 6 is my max total. I do this for self control but mostly for training. All 3 of my pistols are da/SA Sigs in .357sig. I am waiting on the Sig 716 to go with my 556 so my rifles will have the same controls and breakdown. Only stepchild will be the shotgun.

And like you motorcycles are my passion. My guns are for self defense and hunting and the last thing I'm going to do is collect anything. You'll never see a U-haul trailer behind a hearse.

Due to the economy and exchange rates bike parts are expensive as hell. Marchesinis, Ohlins, Brembo, Akras, all way more expensive than they used to be!

Now that's funny! I love my SW 1076. Wouldn't trade/sell it for anything.

Long live the 10mm.
