| Boberg XR9
I got my new Boberg XR9 about 2 weeks ago. Love it. ![]() ![]() this image shows the Boberg next to the Sig P290 at one more round and 1/2 in longer barrel. ![]() I do stand behind Sig but the Boberg is 3 times the gun the P290 is. |

I have read good reports about these. They operate quite differently in that the bullets are picked from the back of the magazine as the slide is in rearward travel rather than striped from the mag on forward travel. Not sure how it is exactly set up and I do not know how easily I would transition to this system. On empty does the slide lock back? If it does the the slide would have to be racked in order to pick a new round from the magazine. If the slide does not lock back what other means are there to let the user know the mag is empty before the dreaded "click"? |

Congrats on your new Boberg... I sent my money in 3 weeks ago, hopefully mine wil be showing up in a few weeks. I too have the Signess (own six Sigs from P239 to 1911 TacOps), but this Boberg could be the perfect summer carry.

Are there night sights and any good holsters available for the Boberg? It looks like a really sweet gun!

Not sure about the night sights but MECO Pocket holsters in TX makes a nice holster for the Boberg. If you call Robert tell him Jeffs sent ya.
