| Bersa Thunder 9 Ultra Compact Pro
When my wife and I were in Academy yesterday she laid eyes on this beauty. She seen and handled the Bersa in the store and it was a good fit for her and the controls were more user friendly. Haven't had time to fire it yet but it came with 2 mags, a trigger lock, and a built in locking device that secures the gun from doing anything. I will post pictures and give a range report on this weapon as soon as I can.

Here are some photos of my wifes Bersa Thunder 9 Ultra Compact Pro. Finally took it out of the box and field stripped it and lubed it up. Haven't got to the range yet but will this week. Paid $399.99 for it. Sound like a good price for an all metal 9mm?

Took the Bersa and my 2022 to the range today to compare the two. The Bersa shot really well. Nearly as smooth of a trigger as my Sig. The recoil was the same between the two. Seemed like I was shooting the same gun. The Bersa factory magazines didn't feel as well built as the Sig factory mags when filling them but all cycled well through the gun. This is my first Bersa as well as my first Sig and I can say that I was really impressed by the Bersa for the way it shot. I have read many reviews on the SP2022 so I kinda knew that the Sig would live up to its reputation. I can feel confident that the choice that the wife and I made for her home defense weapon will function properly when needed to. I feel that the Thunder 9 is worth the $400 we paid for it. Next time out the wife may just have to wait a little longer before I hand it back to her.

I have the Thunder 380- its one of those "wow" guns. They shoot great, when you shoot one you say -wow. I hear the 9 UC is well liked also. I actually though about buying a (UC yesterday, but stumbled across a used Sig 228-so thats why I'm here- looking for info on this gun. |
