Finally picked up my 700 5R .308 this week. Mounted a Burris XTR ii 3-15x50 and took her out to the range yesterday for the first time. Ran 20 rounds of Gold Medal through at 100 yards. This was my best 3 shot group of the morning. Needless to say, I'm pretty happy. I can't wait to get back out there and start stretching it out!

with my custom Kirkpatrick shell holder . . .

IOR Valdada 3-5-18x50 glass w/red illuminated dot . . .

Atlas bi-pod . . .

"countertop mechanic" (lol) installing my Timney Calvin Elite. Much better than sending it back to Remy for the trigger recall. And this sucker is a hair trigger if there ever was one. I need to give it another turn or two . . .

my newest 5R Gen 2. Since these pics, I also added the same Timney Calvin Elite trigger and Kirkpatrick shell holder . . .

added a "Terminator" T2 muzzle brake . . .

need to get another Atlas bi-pod and glass like I said earlier. Also going to be selling a new, never used Harris bi-pod.

Tks Tim. As usual, it's a start and always seems to be never ending.

I find that the good part if it wasn't 'never ending', then we'd probably see the end and what's the fun in that
