Welcome to GLOCK FREE AMERICA. You can finally talk about another brand of firearm without the Glock guys yelling at you about it. Breath the free air and feel the electrons flowing through your brain as it beholds the wonders of guns that not only shoot reliably but also look like someone was hired that cared how they looked.
Oh and gratz on the new Sig

Because I carry one as a back up to my sig and I have not had any problems 50 rounds of crit. Defense and 200 rds of fmj and still flawless. Btw the Glock 42 is my first glock. I just would like to see the post so I can be on the look out for any of these problems.

Thanks

My G42 arrived this morning and I just got back from the range, after performing the inaugural testing of the handgun. I was severely disappointed when Glock announced the single stack 380 ACP a few months ago. Why not a 9mm? But I have to tell you, this is a fine handgun, I am impressed. 50 trouble free rounds of my reloads, accuracy is better than I am capable of. I enjoy reading all this Glock bashing. Helps drive the price of the Glocks on the market down, making them much more affordable for people like myself! Thank you, keep the bashing up!

Thank you! I am a happy owner of a couple of SIG's. I own a few more of the Glock brand. As an armorer of both brands, I have complete confidence in each. If forced to have just one handgun, I'm afraid my status as a moderator on a SIG forum would be in jeopardy.

As much as I love Sigs I have to say there is a reason that so many Police and Military units around the world carry Glocks....

Mainly the price. Especially with the GAP pistols depts were making money changing to those.
What you need to remember about police depts is they only care about the costs.

Glocks are fantastic guns, but PDs aremt concerned about that

Harryra, the reason so many police departments carry Glocks is in the book about Glock and all their parties...when they sell new Glocks to a police department they buy all the old issue guns from the department. That "cuts the cost" to the police for the new Glocks.

Glock then sells the used police guns to dealers, pawn brokers, etc. and the old police guns wind up being used against the same cops who used to carry them.

That dang 42 is still at the Trading Post...my brain says run from it...read all the problems with 42s on line. I don't need another small gun....but my gun lust/addiction is still shouting BUY IT!....I'm such a fool/sucker/addict.
