Another slow day at work brings yet another question. ![]() If it was the end of the world as we now know it, and it was every man for him self, what one hand gun would you want at your side? |

My P226 9mm. I have enough mags and rounds to last a while, it's light and dependable. Once those are gone, I'd scavenge a 1911 .45, since they're very popular among local cops and citizens and mags would be plentiful.

Kenny is right! I mean I would love to have my Sig P226 9mm or .357sig. But if its my family or the bad guy, I'll shoot you with a Bryco!!!!

Hmm hard choice. G35 or 226, G35 or 226. Probably the G35, I have more 40 ammo laying around at the moment.

Not sure which one of my 226 Ill choose. I love my 40 but the magazine round count of my 9 is more preferable. I guess I just answered my debate. P226 Combat it is.

I like my new Sig 226, but I would probably have to go with an HK P30. The ergonomics are great, and 9mm will be easier to find than any other handgun caliber. HK seems to have taken the DA/SA design to its limit with the P30 and HK45/45c. That certainly doesn't take away anything from Sigs. |

If the world has ended, you're not going to be buying any more spare parts and/or cleaning supplies, and there isn't going to be anyone to work on your gun. At that point, looks and ego go out the door. Give me a Glock 19 (I hate Glocks) and a ton of ammo. Long after my Sigs, HK's and Beretta's have failed, the Glock will still be firing. As Kenny said above....give me one that works.

My Ruger Security Six. 4 inch 357 mag. Carryable, powerful, accurate, and whats more reliable than a good old wheel gun?

Well I would have to say my P229 40cal. Have the most ammo for that one. Next would be a full sized Glock.

My AR. Unless the world ends while I'm away from home, then it'll be my P250 9mm.

My backup on my vest rig would be my P2022 and the 6 mags I have for it. If it is the end of the world as you know it you might just end up away from your arsenal minus concealed carry and what you have with you and you might not make it home to gear up.

Red Dawn scenario? Then the SKS gets pulled out since I think The Adversary can resupply me. Gotham-gone-mad...something discrete but accurate...the Kahr K9 or Sig 232, suitable for wear dining out but available when The Joker comes calling. Mad Max? I would take everything I had... For weapons would be a highly valuable trade item.

I'd just need one round and my P238. I'd check right on out if things got biblical.
