This is a discussion on Special Custom Shop Offer from SIG within the Guns forums, part of the Gun Forum category; I would jump on this (for the SRT), but I don't think I could be without my 228 for another 3-4 weeks....

Interesting... I wonder if the combination of the E2 conversion and the short trigger make the gun too small or change my grip feel? Hmmmmmmmmm...

| I own a P226 E2, LOVE IT! It definitely changes the grip from a regular P226, but fits me perfectly. The SRT trigger system absolutely enhances follow up shots. I won’t own a Sig without it. Sent my P239 in to have it converted, works great as well. If your Sig fits your grip well now, probably not an advantage changing to the E2. However, I’d recommend the SRT trigger to every Sig owner. |

This is killing me. I need another SIG as backup for when I send mine in for improvements... Ha.

Wish I had the money I'd send my P220 in for the conversion. Would like to have it done on my P229 but that is my carry gun and has Crimson Trace grips on it. Haven't had a chance to shoot an E2 but have handled a P226E2 and it feels absolutely fantastic. Seriously thinking about getting a P226E2 in 9mm for my competition gun.
