| FNH Brand Thoughts?
I don't see much following on this brand. I personally like the way they have the decocker and slide release positioned. I am thinking of getting an FNX45 once they become more readily available. Any one have thoughts on these?

I'm skipping all the AR noise and saving for a SCAR 17 myself. |

I have shot the FNP 40. It was a nice gun. Shot pretty smooth and accurate. It reminds me of the SP2022 I have. I think the FNX series is the newer version of the FNP series.

The FNX is the newer version, supposed to have been improved with a lower bore axis. I am wondering how they compare to Glock and the M&P as far as the bore axis goes.

| The FN five seven looks like one heck of a pistol.

anything they make is pretty good. The government buys M4s and 249s from them so they must be decent....

I have an FNP-9, a great gun. Extremely reliable and well made. FN Herstal has quite a reputation for reliable firearms. It rates high in my book.

Just shoot a FN-S .40 Excellent gun. Feels more like a 9mm. Now I'm thinking in buying one in .45

I have an FNX and find it to be an excellent weapon. Have not had one problem with it, not one. Good shooting. I bought it because I like the DA/SA feature, with de-cocking. Mine didn't come with night sights, so I'm going to have to put some on.

A lot of people complain about decocking it when they sweep the safety off. Valid concern, I suppose, if you aren't prepared for a DA shot on the draw.
