Well stated and hats off to him and those that stand up against this crap. Unfortunately, my local Sheriff things only LEOs should have guns and is a complete and total prick. I have a hard time saying this, since I was raised by a LEO myself, but honestly, this guy is just the bottom of the barrel and has the wrong mentality. The only reason he keeps getting re-elected is the opponents the Republicans throw at him are honestly, way worse than this guy. I digress, we need more sheriffs like the one from Oregon! |

I think it is great that a sheriff would write a letter to the door stop at the White House, that being the vp. Now if all of the sheriff's would feel the same way we would have something. You know and I know the person who was voted into the highest office in this land is going to everything he possibly can to get our guns. I am wondering where this thing is going to go? Another civil war? That may be a possibility. The government is gutting our constitution and nothing is being done. Somewhere this has to stop. Too many people have died for our country for us to sit on our duffs and just talk.
