It's amazing the diversity of styles that can be had for a hunting knife.



I prefer a short pointed blade such as my personal favorite, a Lakota FinWing. I don't believe they are still made. I've been using this one for 30 years or so.

I have a Knives of Alaska Coho filet knife that I haven't tried yet, but in the meantime, here's my go-to knife:

i was very skeptical until i tried this knife. i use it for pretty much anything game related in the field. great for field dressing. no where near as nice as the other knives shown here...but functional.

Cannot argue with the hurricane on this one. I've got a bit of everything (Benchmade, Spyderco, CKRT, SOG, Buck, Marbles, Beretta, Mora, etc., etc.) but I've been on a Kershaw tear the last year or so. Great knives for the money, IMO.
