I sell knives and other stuff as a week end vendor and see alot of old Benchmade folders come in that need to be sharpened or just bragged about. They hold up extremely well under some pretty hard use and I've even seen a couple that were so abused they were almost worn out. You won't be disappointed.

Loved the few Benchmades I've carried but stick to my Emerson Super Commander now! |

Benchmade makes terrific knives and I prefer the axis lock. I bought one and not that long after I had four. My 710 with the M390 steel came incredibly sharp out of the box. The Mini Griptilian is a great all around carry knife. I also have a 940 Osborne and 950 Rift. The 940 Osborne is an absolute pleasure to carry and you almost forget you have in your pocket as it is so slim and light. Also people don't faint when they see it because of the "cute" green handle. Yeah, I'm pretty much a benchmade fan as well. Just look at my avatar.

Benchmade = quality for sure. I really like that contego. I've had my eye on one for a bit now. i 'm thinking soon since I can't spend my money on ammo.

Big fan. As a supplier to BM I am out on their production floor at least once a week. Their quality standards exceed most all other manufacturing I deal with. Great company and the employee's are very proud of what they turn out.

I have a Torrent 890 that is my new EDC knife. I've got a lightly used Mini Griptilian that I just never bonded with for some reason.

I have a Benchmade Rift (Osborne). Very nice knife. Was never a huge fan of G10 until I owned this blade. Going to be taking some beauty shots of it with my P250 and my Preon 2 soon. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1367320343.517641.jpg Last edited by svander; 04-30-2013 at 03:14 AM. |

I know this has an Axis lock and is a Mel Pardue design. Forget the model, but it is one of my most cherished possessions, period. It was a gift from a close friend and veteran and goes everywhere with me.
