20% off code

What do you have to do to get it? Or did they stop doing it?

I went online and did the Warranty/Legion registration and the case and coin have already shipped but I never received the one time coupon I've heard people talking about.

I asked the other day when registering my Legion 226 SAO and was told that they had discontinued that practice.I of course still have my 20% off code from my mcx registration I have yet to use.In the event that they no longer honor that of which I was already given I will report here. But I see no exp. date on my email i received from them with the code.

Damn. 20% off that XM-18 was gonna be SWEET.

I was even going to stagger registering my 226 SAO and 229 to get two codes. Oh well, I guess I'll just get the ZT and holsters.

well they tried to get me to use 20% off to acquire a caliber conversion kit for the mcx even going so far as to say they should be shipping by june/july.
well none the less i didn't order Caspers brother and still have a 20% discount. They also at the time explained to me that it was either for accessories ,gear, or magazines and such but certainly was not applicable to electro optics.

unless they have changed it, you had to do 2 registrations on a Legion pistol. One was to join the Legion Club. That is where you get the case and coin. The second is registering your pistol with SIG. After that one is accepted, they gave you a code for the 20% discount, restrictions apply. Write that number down as it is only given to you the one time and if you misplace it, they will not reissue a coupon or code.

It's all one now. If you go to the warranty registration page it asks if it is a legion pistol and if you say yes then more drop downs appear and you knock out both simultaneously.

There is a thread here where it says that they aren't doing it any more. At first I was disappointed. However, the reality is that most of their stuff is at least 20.1% more expensive than what you can find it for elsewhere so it's not exactly the end of the world. Plus they use FedEx Smart Post to ship stuff... expensive and SLOW. It's funny how it uses both FedEx and the Post Office to deliver, but it's about twice as slow as either one separately.

Just to let you guys know the xm18 is back in stock as it was actually out of stock yesterday. Just ordered me 1...also they do charge tax even if you call customer service on the knife. I told them about being out of state but they said that only certain items are able to be tax free but all legion items are taxed...hope I didnt get shafted.

This hinderers go fast...even my non sig one took a bit of creativity to snap up! They are fantastic though!
Instagram posts a bunch of them sometimes you can snag one for a decent price! Not the sig legion ones though! Those are much more infrequent.

Do you think the Sig Legion xm18s will be just as sought after later down the road? Or do you think it will diminish in value more rapidly because now the market is extremely small?

Also I hope that these are the gen4 models of the xm18s.

That's a good question...I'm not sure how to answer...hinderer has been ramping up production so in general the relative value of his knives have gone down in the secondary market...certain models like the sparrow grind and the sig models are still made in limited quantities but once you start using them they go down again...personally I jumped on a 3" harpoon tanto because they were brand new and went fast...since then they held up their value slightly more than the more plentiful fatty tanto...it depends on the market I guess but I wouldn't buy one not to carry...if your looking for investment knives...maybe something a little more high end like custom hinderers or norsemen or marfiones would do that trick...but it's just a shame to have such a sick knife and not use it...you can always find some sig xm's if you look hard enough...but would it be better than a regular xm-18? I'm not so sure personally...good luck with your collection though! We all have our want list! My knife lust has been satiated for the time being after I picked up my federal eagle Coye!
But I see people dropping like $2k for knives all the time...I'd rather have a sig!
