Hello from Northern Indiana

Hey guys found your site quite by accident. But after lurking here for a while, glad I did. I am a member of SIGTalk as well. I have been a Sig fan since the early 80's and have had experience with many of them. I actually just recently picked up a near brand new Sig P220R Compact..Traded a Sig P229 .40 cal for it. I am now in the process of working the slide and using snap caps to smooth up the action and trigger. I am also looking for the same gun but SAO, and was searching for this model when I happened upon your site.
Well anyway, have been into guns for more years than I care to reveal, let's just say I am a baby boomer, I am an Ex-Law enforcement officer, and really close to retirement age. Been married to my wife for over 40 years, my love of my life, just in front of guns! I am a Vietnam Vet, and am currently serving our community as an Employment and Training Assistant for Experience Works, providing assistance and training for Unemployed Seniors 55 and older wanting to get trained to re-enter the work force.
