Hello all. Retired Coast Guard CWO4 and Federal LEO here; started shooting 50+ years ago; avid collector starting around 2002. Live in the midwest; my other "passion" is buying, selling, trading, and collecting custom made knives.
My current list of Sig Firearms include: Sig 716, 556 (with 551 lower), 522, P6; P220 .38 Super and .45 acp (both German made guns), and the following 1911s: Stainless GSR, Black Nitride finished TACPAC and TACOPS, and a RCS; a P238 and a German Bundesgrenzshutz (Border Guards) P-210-4. Here are some photos of my Sig Family Members:
top is the 556 before I changed it to the 551 lower
And yes, I do shoot them; here's a half-sized target that I shot the CBP Qualification Course, using the P238. (30 rounds fired 12 @ 3-1/2 yards; 12 @ 7 yards including 2 head shots; and 6 rounds at the 15 yard line)
TACOPS Shoots well too:
Hogue makes some very nice stocks for the P220:
