| New texas p229 & p238 owner!
Hey there community I have been an owner of a Sig p229 SCT .40 for about a year now and just the other day purchased a sig p238 for my fiancee I love these pistols they shoot great and are reliable... I tried registering over on the "other" sig forum but they have some really stupid email restrictions that didnt let me sign up with any of my free emails since that all I have ![]() Anyways looking to make a home here and would like to start off with a question incase anyone could help me. My fiancee loves everything about her new sig p238 except for the ridges/notches in the trigger... I understand the stainless steel trigger for the colt mustang is a direct replacement and I have found another guy who goes by "parts production" also makes a stainless steel trigger but they both still seem to have the lines/ridges/notches in the trigger.... Is there anyone who could be recommended that could do a custom cnc fabricated trigger for me thats completelly smooth? maybe someone in the sig field or 1911 field? because that seems like my only option at the moment.... my fiancee has small delicate hands and she says the triggers ridges hurt her finger ![]() Thanks and see you around! |

welcome from Florida. Take her to Dick's sporting and go to were they have the baseball gloves. You can find a pair for around $14.00 to $20.00. That is what i did for my wife and myself. |

Welcome from a frequent visitor to Texas. Does your fiancee have any problems working the slide?

Liquidrazer that video is from parts production the trigger they sell I thought was only available with the serrations on it but after emailing them he confirmed he had a limited amount of smooth triggers with no serrations but only in stainless steel... he has them available in black but only serrated. So im going to go ahead and order one of the smooth stainless steel triggers from him and then find a place to get it made black to match the all black pistol. I have emailed robar about blackening the stainless steel and also severns customs on his hard hat treatment. inspector71 we had checked out several other "pocket" .380's like the S&W bodyguard 380, taurus tcp, and ruger lcp but the only one she could work the slide comfortably was the p238... the rest she had trouble with. the p238 was also my top choice aswell and I may end up getting one for myself now |
